| Content | A partir du 12e siècle, une littérature satirique se développe, versant comique de la littérature courtoise. Dans la mesure où elle représente un renversement parodique des situations courtoises, elle devait s’adresser à une société aristocratique capable d’apprécier le jeu sur ces modèles. Cette littérature, dont l'un des grands représentants est le Roman de Renart, constitue un reflet plus fidèle de la société médiévale qui est idéalisée dans les romans courtois. Cet ensemble disparate de récits animaliers composé par différents auteurs et mettant en scène, sous les traits d'animaux, toutes les classes sociales de la société féodale du 13e siècle sera au centre de notre propos. |
