Bibliography | The following book by Elizabeth Bishop is required for the course: Elizabeth Bishop, "Poems", Chatto & Windus: 2011, ISBN: 978-0701186289 Students should purchase a copy of the book before the first session of the course. Copies will be available at the 'Labyrinth' bookstore, Nadelberg 11, Basel. If possible, please read the book before the semester starts. A course pack of secondary literature will be provided. The following book by Elizabeth Bishop is recommended as background but not required for the course: Elizabeth Bishop, "Prose", Chatto & Windus: 2011, ISBN: 978-0701186272 |

Admission requirements | Old BA curriculum (2005): This course may only be taken after successful completion of the first-year module "Learning about Literature". New BA curriculum (2013): It is strongly recommended that this course is taken only after the successful completion of the "Introduction I + II: Literary Studies" proseminars. |
