| Content | This course deals with practical aspects of applied quantitative research in business and economics in general and marketing in particular. The main areas covered are classification, clustering, and condensing information. Time permitting, further topics will be discussed; these can include (but are not limited to) visualization, text mining, and big data. The course combines theoretical presentations with practical applications and "hands-on" examples. |

| Assessment details | assignment and written exam. written exam: 17.06.2015; 12:15-13:45. WWZ S15: A-Z. You can still withdraw from the examination by submitting a completed, signed form to our office from 17.03.15 until 31.03.15 / 12:00 o’clock. Withdrawals sent by email will not be accepted. You will find the examination withdrawal form on the Homepage of the Student Dean’s Office. Prior to 16.03.15, please only use MONA for withdrawing. The exam rooms will be published up to 18.05.15. |
