| Content | This course covers traditional and innovative computational methods for economics and management. Topics include, but are not limited to *) evolutionary computation and soft computing methods, with special emphasis on heuristic optimization methods *) advanced simulation, in particular agent-based models *) advanced concepts in computational intelligence for economics and business |
| Learning objectives | Learning Goals: Successful participants should be familiar with innovative numerical methods, necessary to approach and solve quantitative problems in economics and business. Also, they will improve their programming skills to implement economic / management models and the necessary methods. |

| Assessment details | final exam + course work. written exam: 28.05.2015; 14:15-16:00. WWZ S18: A-Z / alt. WWZ S15. You can still withdraw from the examination by submitting a completed, signed form to our office from 17.03.15 until 31.03.15 / 12:00 o’clock. Withdrawals sent by email will not be accepted. You will find the examination withdrawal form on the Homepage of the Student Dean’s Office. Prior to 16.03.15, please only use MONA for withdrawing. The exam rooms will be published up to 18.05.15. |
