| Content | Il corso si propone di affrontare alcuni fra gli snodi portanti della semantica tempo-aspettuale. L’esemplificazione partirà dall’italiano in quanto lingua ben nota agli studenti frequentanti, ma spazierà poi su un ventaglio tipologicamente differenziato di lingue. Dopo aver fissato i parametri fondamentali della semantica tempo-aspettuale, si proporrà una visione originale dell’orizzonte tipologico relativamente alla semantica verbale, mostrando da un lato la straordinaria difformità delle lingue, e dall’altro la costitutiva “difettività” dei sistemi tempo-aspettuali, da intendersi in un’accezione che verrà opportunamente definita. Successivamente, saranno affrontati due argomenti specifici. Dapprima, la definizione dell’aspetto abituale, collocato nel quadro di ciò che recentemente si è proposto di chiamare “imperfettività gnomica”, internamente modulabile lungo il parametro della plurazionalità (concernente il ripetersi di eventi analoghi in contesti situazionali affini). Infine, si punterà lo sguardo sulla lingua della letteratura, con l’intento di mostrare alcuni tentativi di sperimentazione messi in atto dalla narrativa italiana del Novecento, i cui effetti vanno valutati rispetto all’impianto complessivo della struttura tempo-aspettuale dell’italiano. |
