Content | Heritability estimates of ~50% have been reported for personality traits, enabling a closer look onthe molecular genetic underpinnings of both broad personality dimensions (e.g. neuroticism) and more specific facets of personality (e.g. stress coping strategies or impulsivity). It is the aim of this project, to collect this additional information for these phenotypes in two projects, that have already started (memory & fMRI study; memory, sleep & EEG study), to investigate the interplay between memory, personality and genes. We are therefore looking for 1-2 highly motivated master students with great interest in the biological issues of personality and in the analytical methods to investigate genetic data. |
