| Content | In this seminar you will have the opportunity to analyze advanced aspects of blockchain technology. Students get an opportunity to delve into consensus protocols, alternative blockchain implementations or smart contracts. The students write a seminar paper and present their findings. |

| Admission requirements | Abgeschlossenes Bachelorstudium. Die seminarspezifischen Zuteilungskriterien sind: Wir setzen mindestens eine der beiden nachfolgenden Vorlesungen voraus: 46932 Bitcoin, Blockchain und Kryptoassets (Bachelor) 52354 Smart Contracts and Decentralized Blockchain Applications (Master) Bevorzugung derjenigen, die beide Vorlesungen besucht haben Die weiteren allgemeingültigen Zuteilungskriterien sind hier zu finden: https://wwz.unibas.ch/de/studium/master-business-and-economics/masterseminare/ Hinweise zu Anforderungen betreffend wissenschaftlicher Software: Für alle Arbeiten wird LaTeX vorausgesetzt. R und Solidity Programmierkenntnisse (wird im Kurs Smart Contracts and Decentralized Blockchain Applications gelehrt) sind ein Plus und für gewisse Themen zwingend erforderlich. |
