Content | The following mechanisms will be discussed: general principles of interaction with cells and proteins, repair mechanisms, mitochondrial respiratory chain, uncoupling, mitochondrial DNA, mitochondrial fatty acid oxidation. ER stress response, redox reactions, Lysosomes, phospholipidosis, cytokines, inflammasome, apoptosis, necrosis, nuclear receptors, ion homeostasis |
Learning objectives | Students should know the principle toxicological mechanisms how toxicants can damage cell organelles and cells. |
