Content | The research projects will provide students with important skills needed to carry out their own independent scientific research. Literature research, independent work on their project, and a written summary/conclusion that will be discussed with members of the host group are part of the project. |
Learning objectives | Students will learn how a study should be planned, carried out and presented to a scientific community. Working on his/her own project will familiarize the student with the scientific and will encourage independent, analytical thinking. |
Admission requirements | Die Veranstaltung richtet sich an Studierende des 5. Semesters BSc "Computational Sciences" mit der Vertiefungsrichtung "Computational Biology". Vorausgesetzt werden die Veranstaltungen der vorhergehenden Semester, insbesondere das Praktikum "23502: Programming in bioinformatics" und die Vorlesung mit Übungen "23605: Computational Biology I: Quantitative Data Analysis". |
