Content | In this seminar, students get an opportunity to delve deep into decentralized Blockchain applications and analyze financial protocols. Topics may include but are not limited to: Decentralized Exchanges, Stablecoin Protocols, Lending Protocols, Flash Loans, Smart Contract-based Asset Management Protocols, Token Economics, Decentralized Insurance Protocols, Systemic Risk Assessment, Self Sovereign Identities, Decentralized Derivatives, Blockchain-based Gaming Infrastructure. The students are expected to write a seminar paper and present their findings in the seminar. |
Learning objectives | • You will get an understanding of Blockchain technology and smart contract platforms • You will analyze innovative (financial) protocols and decentralized infrastructure • You will learn how to obtain and analyze Blockchain data or how to perform a theoretical analysis • You will be able to read smart contracts-based protocols |

Admission requirements | Completed Bachelor in Business and Economics. The specific allocation criterion are: The course 52354 Smart Contracts and Decentralized Blockchain Applications (Master) must have been taken. Notes on requirements for scientific software: LaTeX is required for all work. R and Solidity programming skills (taught in the Smart Contracts and Decentralized Blockchain Applications course) are a plus and essential for certain topics. Course application | The application for this seminar is done centrally until January 6, 2021 with the Studiendekanat.
