| Content | This seminar focuses on currents topics in the field of host-pathogen interactions. Each topic is addressed in two parts. In a first preparatory part, all students read two complementary research papers and a team of 2 students is responsible for presenting and discussing the papers in the group. In the second part, an invited expert in the corresponding field of research (and senior author on a least one of the two papers) presents a seminar to the students followed by discussion. |
| Learning objectives | To practice the critical reading, discussion and presentation of research papers and data, and to obtain detailed insight into current research on host-pathogen interactions of poverty-related infectious diseases. |
