| Content | Toxic effects of drugs, chemicals and toxins on the following organs will be discussed: Kidney & urinary tract, blood & bone marrow, heart, gastrointestinal tract, skin, respiratory system, skeletal muscle, bones, liver, ears and eyes. |
| Learning objectives | Students should know 1. the typical lesions associated with poisons in the above-mentioned organs 2. which toxicants are important for a specific organ. They should know the toxicological mechanisms leading to these lesions and possible repair mechanisms. |
