Content | Based on the presentation of ongoing research projects (Master's theses, PhD theses etc.), students analyze and discuss thematic and methodological questions related to current disciplinary and interdisciplinary research on sustainability. The detailed program is set in the first session. |
Learning objectives | Participants have in-depth knowledge about thematic and methodological aspects of social science research on sustainability. |
Comments | Mandatory for all MSD-students who have chosen the focus area in social sciences (credits are earned once for the module "Preparation Master's Thesis in Social Sciences" = no repeated course registration possible). Enrollment and presentation according to agreement with Prof. Dr. Burger. Dates: 3. /17. and 24. March; 21. and 28. April; 12. May; 2. June: 14.15 to 16.00h This colloquium is offered by the MSD. Prof. Dr. P. Burger is head of the Sustainability Research Group, Dep. Social Sciences, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. Dr. Rony Emmenegger is a post doc staff member of the same research group. |
Admission requirements | Only for MSD students with focus area in social science. |
Course application | Course enrollment on MOnA should be completed by the beginning of the teaching period (withdrawal possible until Monday of week five). Exclusively for MSD-students with focus area in social sciences who present specific aspects of their master's thesis. |
