| Content | Large-scale studies produce enormous amounts of data and pave the way for novel findings. To achieve this goal, sophisticated data-management and data-mining strategies are necessary. On the one hand this is required for appropriate data handling, on other hand it is a prerequisite to gain insight into the structure of the data. We are looking for motivated master students who will learn to collect high-quality data in a systematic and standardized way in the context of two on-going studies, which are currently conducted in our departments (memory & fMRI study; memory, sleep & EEG study). Furthermore, students should be willing to get familiar with state-of-the-art data-mining strategies and learn to apply these strategies on behavioral, functional and genetic datasets. |

| Course application | Die verbindliche Vergabe der Masterprojekte wird über den Mastermatch geregelt. Ab dem 1. Juni können die für das Herbstsemester zur Auswahl stehenden Masterprojekte über den Mastermatch eingesehen werden (aktivierter VPN erforderlich). Ab dem 1. September sind Anfragen zur Aufnahme in Masterprojekte via Mastermatch möglich. Die Zuteilung durch die Dozierenden erfolgt ab dem 1. September bis zum Semesterstart. Auf dem Mastermatch werden nur Masterprojekte aufgeführt, die neue Studierende aufnehmen (Anzahl gemäss Angabe). NACH der Zusage durch Dozierende kann das betreffende Masterprojekt via services.unibas.ch belegt werden. Weitere Angaben finden sich auf der Website der Fakultät für Psychologie. |
