| Content | Este curso se centra en la poesía de Puerto Rico, principalmente del siglo XX. Al ser Puerto Rico parte de los Estados Unidos de América, uno de los temas que consideraremos es cómo la poesía de Puerto Rico puede ser leída como literatura "americana". This course focuses on poetry from Puerto Rico, primarily from the twentieth century. As Puerto Rico is part of the United States of America, one issue we will consider is how poetry from Puerto Rico can be read as "American" literature. |

| Bibliography | Los instructores proporcionarán un paquete de lecturas el cual incluirá poemas y la literatura secundaria para el curso. A course pack of poems and secondary literature to be read for the course will be provided by the instructors. |

| Admission requirements | Este seminario es para los estudiantes de licenciatura de nivel avanzado. Los estudiantes deben haber completado los tres módulos de introducción (incluyendo los trabajos de proseminario). This seminar is for BA students on the advanced level. Students must have completed ALL three introductory modules (including the proseminar papers). |
