Content | We investigate the ability to discriminate between perception and imagination. Therefore, we simulate hallucination-like perceptual experiences using an immersive technology method (mixed reality) to manipulate the visual and auditory perception in real-time. In a first study, we characterize the discrimination performance across the general population in a sample of hundred healthy adults. Taking part in this project includes developing and piloting the mixed-reality simulations and contributing to the study procedures and data analysis. Contact: fabi.mueller-at-unibas.ch. |
