Content | Das Klima im Quartär (letzten 2.5 Millionen Jahre) war grossen Schwankungen unterworfen (z.B. Kalt- und Warmzeiten), welche die Menschheitsgeschichte nachhaltig beeinflusst haben. Die Vorlesung gibt anhand von zahlreichen Beispielen einen umfassenden Überblick wie Klima- und Umweltveränderungen die Evolution und Ausbreitung des Menschen sowie den Aufstieg und Fall ganzer Zivilisationen (z.B. Römisches Reich) beeinflusst hat. |
Learning objectives | Die Studierenden lernen wie das Klima und Umwelt während des Quartärs variiert hat und wie sich der Mensch an diese Veränderungen angepasst hat. |
