| Content | In this course, we will study up to six books of contemporary Anglophone poetry, one each by up to six authors. |

| Bibliography | The following books are required for the course: Stephanie Burt, We Are Mermaids Katy Evans-Bush, Joe Hill Makes His Way Into The Castle Terrance Hayes, So To Speak Ada Limon, Bright Dead Things Diane Seuss, Frank: Sonnets Ocean Vuong, Time Is a Mother Students should purchase copies of the books before the first session of the course. Copies will be available at the Labyrinth bookstore, Nadelberg 17, Basel. For context, students are encouraged to read earlier collections by all the poets in the course. |
| Admission requirements | This seminar is for BA students on the advanced level. Students must have completed ALL three introductory modules (including the proseminar papers). |
