Content This course explores the latest trends and experimental applications in creating immersive cultural heritage experiences. Cultural heritage is dynamic, constantly evolving, and the digital realm offers innovative ways to present and engage with cultural objects. Immersive technologies provide particularly captivating and interactive expériences, allowing visitors to engage with long-lost places and actively participate in the experience, creating a deeper and more meaningful connection with cultural heritage. The course features guest lecturers who will share their expertise from both practical and theoretical perspectives.

Key topics for this course include immersion theory, mixed reality technology, museum mediation, and applications in the entertainment sector, such as video games. We will analyze and theoretically reflect on the digital tools and methods used.

 

Admission requirements The number of participants is limited. In the event of oversubscription, students of Digital Humanities will be given preferential admission.
