| Content | This course will cover various topics of cutting-edge research in infection biology. We have invited internationally renowned guest speakers who will present and discuss their recent findings. |

| Admission requirements | To receive credit, students need to demonstrate active participation. Students will be working in teams of 2 and each team will be responsible for performing the following tasks for one specific guest speaker (see speaker list in ADAM): Based on a recent publication of the respective guest speaker, each of the 2 students of a given team will draft a short (max. 1 page) summary of the publication ahead of the scheduled seminar and send it to the hosting PI for approval at least 2 days before the seminar. On the day of the seminar, the student team will introduce the guest speaker and lead the Q&A session. |
