| Content | This course introduces and examines various critiques of eurocentrism from decolonial and postcolonial discourses. We will look at what eurocentrism is, its problems and the implications of the critiques of eurocentrism for how we think about global knowledge production. |
| Learning objectives | - Introduce students to some key critiques of eurocentrism. - Develop students’ abilities to identify, analyze and evaluate arguments from different disciplines and fields of study. - Foster students' critical and careful engagement with some of the arguments underpinning public discourses about issues such as decolonization, racism and social justice. |
