Content | This lecture provides an introduction into the relationsship between worldviews and sustainability. It will address how secular and spiritual worldviews shape our relationship with the social and natural environment and in what way a change in worldviews may help to address sustainability issues. This will be illustrated by different cases, including, for instance the alternative worldviews and life styles of ecovillages and religious movements. The lecture will be taught in English. The lecture starts on 27th of February. |
Learning objectives | Under the completion of this course, you will be able to: - Understand the main debates surrounding worldviews and sustainability - Explain and critically reflect on how different worldviews can affect sustainability practices, policies and research - Apply specific frameworks into your own research |
