Content | The course prepares participants to apply fundamental marketing concepts relevant to the Biopharmaceutical and MedTech sectors. |
Learning objectives | This is a marketing course specifically tailored for Life Sciences. It focuses on the principles on how Biopharmaceutical and MedTech companies are operating. The course should help you prepare for marketing-related topics you will be dealing with in the Biopharmaceutical / MedTech sector. Objectives of the course • Acquiring an overview of relevant concepts that are part of the standard knowledge of strategic marketing in Life Sciences. • Practicing the process of strategic marketing principles in the context of use cases. • Acquiring an appreciation of what a “good” marketing strategy for a medication or medical device must consider. • The course format is centered on learning relevant marketing principles specific to Biopharmaceutical and MedTech companies and applying these to real-life use cases – case studies – that will be discussed as well. The mix between learning critical marketing principles and applying them to real-life use cases / case studies will allow students to better understand the functioning of Biopharmaceutical and MedTech companies. |

Admission requirements | The sessions build on each other and a lot of the learning happens from students discussing with each other. Not attending class would undermine progress overall. |
