| Content | In this advanced computer networks course we will revisit Internet artifacts and put them in a larger context. While past and current networks rely heavily on the concept of addresses, well suited for a circuit view of networking, modern approaches focus on names for data where the network becomes a mere tool for synchronizing named data sets. Finally we look into modern technologies like software defined networking (SDN) heavily used in data centers, and the concept of push-only networking for novelty i.e., data deltas. |
