Semester spring semester 2025
Course frequency Every semester
Lecturers Malte Helmert (malte.helmert@unibas.ch, Assessor)
Content In the reading group, we discuss current and classical research papers. The emphasis lies on work on action planning, search and related areas, but interesting papers from other areas are welcome. All participants can make recommendations for the reading list, from which one or more papers are selected for each meeting. Participants read the selected papers individually in preparation for the meeting and discuss them during the meeting.
Learning objectives Broaden the horizons of the participants (primarily doctoral and post-doctoral researchers) by reading, appraising and critically discussing classical and current research papers primarily in the areas of automated planning, heuristic search and optimization.
Bibliography Selected and announced during the meetings, usually 7 days in advance.
Comments Due to the international audience, reading group meetings take place online via Zoom.
