| Content | In dieser Vorlesung wird die terrestrische Biosphäre vorgestellt. Warum wächst «was, wo und wie» ist eine der «Urfragen» der Biologie. Klima, Boden, erdgeschichtliche und nacheiszeitliche Ereignisse, Landnutzung, Tiere und Feuer sind die grossen «Treiber», die sehr charakteristische, globale Muster der Pflanzenverbreitung bewirken. Nach dieser Vorlesung sollen die Studierenden nicht nur wichtige Eigenschaften der grossen Biome der Erde kennen und verstehen, sondern auch ein «Bild» von der Vegetation der Erde haben. |
