Successful theses will engage in quantitative analyses (e.g., regression analysis, time series models, panel data estimation, and event studies). This seminar is not for student who wants use qualitative methods (e.g., comparative case studies). Students will first identify relevant literatures and develop a research question by themselves. During the first meeting, we go over potential topics as well as an ideal thesis structure. The rest part of the seminar consists of student presentations of own works.
