| Content | This seminar focuses on currents topics in the field of host-pathogen interactions. Each of the 5-6 topics covered in the course is addressed in two parts. In a first preparatory part, all students read a relevant research paper(s) and a team of students is responsible for presenting and discussing the paper in the group. In the second part, an invited expert in the corresponding field of research presents a seminar to the students, which is followed by discussion with the speaker. |
| Learning objectives | To practice the critical reading, discussion and presentation of research papers and data, and to obtain detailed insight into current research on host-pathogen interactions of poverty-related infectious diseases. |
