| Content | Toni Morrison (1931-2019) was one of the leading American novelists from the publication of her debut novel "The Bluest Eye" in 1970. She was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1993. In this course, we will study her three novels from 1987 to 1997, "Beloved" (winner of the 1988 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction), "Jazz", and "Paradise". |
| Learning objectives | In-depth study of Toni Morrison's novels, as well as of their reception. |
