| Content | Mehrere Jahrhunderte nach seiner Blüte wird das Epos von Apollonios wiederbelebt und der Poetologie seiner Zeit angepasst. Dabei entsteht ein Werk mit neuartigen Heldenfiguren. Im dritten Buch der Argonautika begegnen sich Jason und Medea, verlieben sich durch göttliche Fügung und gewinnen gemeinsam das Goldene Vlies. Im Seminar soll der Text mit allen philologischen Mitteln untersucht und gedeutet werden. |

| Bibliography | Arbeitsgrundlage ist der Text von Hermann Fränkel (Oxford 1961), der auf ADAM zur Verfügung gestellt wird. Die kommentierte Ausgabe von Richard Hunter (Cambridge 1989) wird ein wesentliches Hilfsmittel sein. |
