Content Including stakeholders in bioethics research about publicly and politically debated research areas (for example, plant genome editing and animal research) is important to facilitate the practical applicability of research outputs (e.g., policy recommendations). This course provides participants with the opportunity to gain insight into these research topics and learn from experienced researchers how to navigate stakeholder engagement in research. The workshop includes presentations by researchers and stakeholders in these fields as well as interactive roundtable discussions.
Learning objectives Students will learn:
1. to reflect on whether and why to include and engage stakeholders in empirical bioethics research;
2. to discuss different ways and approaches of how to engage stakeholders in empirical bioethics research;
