73131-01 - Seminar: Customer Value Management (6 CP)

Semester fall semester 2026
Course frequency Every fall sem.
Lecturers Andreas Lanz (andreas.lanz@unibas.ch, Assessor)
Content Building on the Customer Value Management colloquium, the goal of this seminar is to sharpen your marketing mindset––and to write and present a Master’s thesis proposal on a focal business challenge, to be investigated in the Master’s Thesis by means of the Spreading Wings Framework.

To pinpoint the focal business challenge, you will have to find and collaborate with a suitable business leader on your own. If you would like to eventually implement your proposal and also write your Master's thesis on this topic, then your proposal must contain a confirmation letter such that you can hold the corresponding workshop with the business leader. Please express your interest already when applying for this seminar.
Comments There will be two sessions for this seminar, a kick-off in September following the Customer Value Management colloquium and a second session for the presentations toward the end of the semester. Hence, this seminar is for students who have already attended or are about to attend the colloquium. Note that the exact dates of the two sessions will be determined together with the participants.
