| Content | Attraverso letture guidate e attività di gruppo, il seminario fornisce gli strumenti essenziali per l’analisi del testo narrativo, introducendo le principali categorie della narratologia (eventfulness, narratore, focalizzazione, durata, frequenza, intreccio e fabula) a partire dai testi stessi e dagli autori in programma, come occasioni concrete di esemplificazione. L’approccio segue le griglie teoriche di Gérard Genette e di altri studiosi, utilizzate in modo operativo per leggere i racconti. In parallelo, il corso propone alcune coordinate teoriche sulla novella moderna attraverso Goethe, Lukács e Šklovskij, per chiarire l’evoluzione storica e formale del genere breve. Il seminario si concentra su racconti e novelle tra metà Ottocento e primo Novecento: la scapigliatura di Boito e Tarchetti, il verismo di Verga e il modernismo di Pirandello offrono casi esemplari per mettere a frutto le categorie narratologiche nell’analisi e nell’interpretazione dei testi. |
