| Content | A partire dagli ultimi anni della seconda Guerra mondiale, un ripensamento delle poetiche romanzesche ha preso avvio in Italia. L’urgenza di raccontare la realtà della guerra e del dopoguerra, nei suoi risvolti politici (la Resistenza) ma anche generazionali e sociali, si è espressa nelle opere di scrittori quali Vittorini, Fenoglio, Calvino, Pratolini, così come nel cinema di Visconti, De Sica, Rossellini. II rapporto tra cinema e letteratura non è stato però soltanto uno svolgimento parallelo, ma anche un incrocio e un dialogo fatto di collaborazioni tra scrittori, sceneggiatori e registi all’insegna di una poetica comune, se pur declinata in modi diversi. Il seminario sarà dedicato all’opera di una delle voci più importanti di questa stagione, quella di Vasco Pratolini (193-1991) scrittore (Cronache di poveri amanti, 1947 ; Le ragazze di San Frediano 1949), ma anche sceneggiatore e collaboratore di pellicole ispirate ai suoi romanzi e non (Paisà di Rossellini, Rocco e i suoi fratelli di Visconti). |
