| Content | Die «Politik» des Aristoteles ist eines der einflussreichsten Werke der Philosophiegeschichte und hat die politische Theorie von der Antike bis heute massgeblich geprägt. Aristoteles entfaltet darin eine umfassende Konzeption des politischen Lebens, in der die Entstehung der Polis, Fragen der Verfassung und Herrschaft sowie das Ideal des guten Lebens in der Gemeinschaft verhandelt werden. Im Proseminar widmen wir uns der gemeinsamen Lektüre des Textes, erarbeiten zentrale Begriffe und Argumente und diskutieren ihre Relevanz für gegenwärtige politische Fragen. |
| Bibliography | Aristoteles: Politik. Hamburg: Meiner, 2019. (Andere gängige Ausgaben der «Politik» sind ebenfalls geeignet.) Ergänzende Literatur wird auf Adam zur Verfügung gestellt. |
