| Content | Wie werden aus Manuskripten Büchern? Und wie kommen die Bücher in die Buchhandlungen? In diesem Seminar lernen Sie die konkreten Aufgaben und Herausforderungen im Verlagswesen kennen. Nach einer Einführung in den Buchmarkt und die Schweizer Literaturlandschaft, spielen wir die Entstehung eines Buchs durch und machen uns anhand praktischer Übungen mit den unterschiedlichen Bereichen des modernen Buchverlags vertraut. Wir lektorieren, schreiben Vorschautexte, beschäftigen uns mit Fragen der Herstellung, diskutieren Strategien der Presse- und Öffentlichkeitsarbeit und lernen Vertriebswege kennen. Dabei gehen wir auch den Fragen nach, wie sich das Verlagswesen in Zeiten der Digitalisierung verändert hat und wie es um die Zukunft des Buchs steht. Die Dozentin arbeitet im Limmat Verlag Zürich. |
| Learning objectives | Praxisorientierte Auseinandersetzung mit der Arbeit im Literaturverlag. Die Studierenden lernen die Bereiche eines modernen Verlags kennen. Ein Schwerpunkt liegt auf praktischen Übungen. |
