| Content | This course considers the Communitys basic economic and substantive law. Art. 14 EC provides: The internal market shall comprise an area without internal frontiers in which the free movement of goods, persons, services and capital is ensured in accordance with the provisions of this Treaty. Art. 4 EC states the importance of an economic policy conducted in accordance with the principle of an open market economy with free competition. Accordingly, the course deals with the concept of Common/Internal Market and the four freedoms. Further, it provides a brief introduction to EC competition law and state aid law and considers their relationship with the rules on free movement. |
