| Content | Podcasts haben viel gemeinsam mit Büchern: Beim Hören wie beim Lesen entstehen innere Bilder, Vertiefung und Nähe. Besonders reizvoll könnten da also Podcasts über Bücher, über Literatur sein. Das Seminar “Kulturelle Praxis” im Herbstsemester 2022 lotet dieses Potenzial aus, konzeptionell wie praktisch. Literatur-Podcasts gibt es viele - bisher aber wenig wirklich gute. This Wachter und Jennifer Khakshouri geben Höranleitung, erklären, was die unterschiedlichen Genres ausmachen, entwickeln im Plenum Qualitäts-Kriterien und vermitteln in einem Crashkurs Grundlagen der Audio-Technik. Die Studierenden Seminars konzipieren darauf einen eigenen Literatur-Podcast und realisieren eine Pilot-Episode. Die Kultur-Moderatorin Jennifer Khakshouri gibt zusammen mit Podcast-Produzent und -Host This Wachter Einblick in ihren Arbeitsalltag, sei es für das Hosten eines Podcasts oder für die Moderation einer Lesung. Auch begleiten die Studierenden Jennifer Khakshouri an die BuchBasel, wo sie eine Lesung moderieren wird. Podcasts have a lot in common with books: Listening and reading create inner images, immersion, and closeness. Podcasts about books, about literature, could therefore be particularly appealing. The seminar in cultural practice in the fall semester of 2022 will explore this potential, both conceptually and practically. There are many literature podcasts, but only few outstanding ones so far. This Wachter and Jennifer Khakshouri will provide listening instructions, explain what constitutes the different genres, develop quality criteria in plenary sessions, and teach the basics of audio technology in a crash course. The students then design their literature podcast and produce a pilot episode. The moderator Jennifer Khakshouri, together with podcast producer and host This Wachter, offer insight into their everyday work, whether it is hosting a podcast or moderating a reading. The students will also accompany Jennifer Khakshouri to BuchBasel, where she will host a reading. |
