Content 1 Introduction (sustainable energy, global energy demand, reservoirs, CO2, energy sources and storage)
2 Solar Energy (solar spectrum, fusion in the sun, absorption, natural variation, earth climate, relation to fossil fuels)
3 Solar Cells (semiconductors, basic principle, limitations)
4 Solar Cells (optimal Si solar cell, power pay back time, efficiency)
5 Thin Film Solar cells (Thin film concepts, organic and dye sensitized cells, high efficiency cells)
6 Wind energy (setup and main ingredients, efficiency, examples and power distribution)
7 Combined heat and power generation (bio gas systems, District heating, heat engines)
8 Nuclear and Fusion (types of nuclear power plants, main process of fission and fusion, ITER)
9 Energy storage (batteries, hydro-power, hydrogen and alternatives)
10 Fuel cells and hoe energy storage systems (setup and examples)
11 Photosynthesis
