30350-01 - Block course: Ethical issues in medicine and the life sciences - Block I 1 CP

Content These courses consist of 2 to 5 day block courses that tackle ethical issues in major bioethical fields such as ethical problems related to electronic health information, personalized medicine, neurosurgery etc. The courses are part of a ProDoc-collaboration with faculty members of the University of Zurich (under the direction of N. Biller-Andorno, E. Vayena ) and will involve also invited international experts.

Admission requirements Open for MA students of faculties of science or medicine with basic knowledge of bioethical questions or high motivation to study these questions intensively and PhD students in biomedical ethics of the Universities of Basel and Zurich.
