Content This research colloquium is part of a more extended project on Cultural Topographies. This term, we will focus on English classics of cultural history. Our reading of work by Raymond Williams and Martin Wiener will be supplemented by more recent work by Michael Gardiner, and we will look at the role of literature in processes of political and cultural development.
Learning objectives Students will widen their knowledge of cultural history and spatial practice and develop their skills in research as well as academic discussion and presentation.
