35016-03 - Proseminar: Introduction I: Literary Studies 3 CP

Content This course is offers an introduction to the study of literature. Details will be announced at the beginning of term.
Learning objectives Students will acquire the methodological tools necessary for the analysis of literary texts. The course will focus on the three main genres (poetry, prose and drama) and introduce students to important periods in literary history (Early Modern, Romantic, Modernist, Postmodernist). In addition, students will get acquainted with the basics of film analysis. They will also learn how to conduct research and how to engage in academic discourse.
