Content The course treats important subjects of current biomedical ethics. Case vignettes are used to illustrate the ethical issues. Contemporary approaches in bioethics, especially principle based approaches, will be presented and discussed, together with the basic framework of legal regulation in Switzerland. The field covered will concern ethics related to the life sciences, research ethics and medical ethics in the clinical context. Different specialists will present cases followed by interactive discussions. Please contact a.loschnigg@unibas.ch for further program details in Austust or September 2014.
