39941-01 - Seminar: Il testo nella lingua. Sintassi e punteggiatura 3 CP

Content Il seminario intende mostrare e discutere il paradigma di modi in cui le scelte linguistiche concorrono a definire l’architettura del testo. Più precisamente, passeremo in rassegna la dimensione della sintassi e la dimensione della punteggiatura. Per quanto riguarda la sintassi, focalizzeremo la nostra attenzione sull’incidenza testuale dell’ordine dei costituenti argomentali e circostanziali, così come sulla scelta tra giustapposizione, subordinazione e coordinazione. Per quanto riguarda la punteggiatura, ci occuperemo della variazione tra punto, virgola e punto e virgola.
I risultati della nostra riflessione teorica saranno applicati allo studio dei comunicati stampa ufficiali della Confederazione Svizzera. Ne misureremo punti di forza e debolezze linguistiche: quali sono le strutture sintattiche e interpuntive più frequentate? quali sono i loro effetti testuali? in quali casi sarebbe stato meglio scegliere forme linguistiche alternative? per quali ragioni?
Poiché i comunicati stampa in italiano sono (quasi) sempre traduzioni dal tedesco, la nostra analisi si aprirà anche a considerazioni di tipo contrastivo. Ci chiederemo in particolare in che misura e con quali conseguenze comunicative le scelte linguistiche osservate siano influenzate dalle strutture sintattico-interpuntive del testo di partenza.
