| Content | Le XVIIe siècle est un siècle saisi par la fièvre de l’envol sur la lune. À partir des années 1630, cette fièvre gagne tant les fictions que les discours savants, dans lesquels fleurissent les spéculations sur ce nouveau monde céleste. Les « fictions lunaires » sont dominées par le triptyque d’œuvres que forment Le Songe ou Astronomie lunaire de Jean Kepler (1634), L’Homme dans la Lune de Francis Godwin (1638) et L’Autre Monde ou les Etats et Empires de la Lune de Cyrano de Bergerac (1657). On s’intéressera à la manière dont ces spéculations cosmologiques posent avec acuité la question du relativisme et des liens étroits entre science et littérature. |
