| Content | Souvent considéré comme le premier roman d'analyse, "La Princesse de Clèves" de Mme de Lafayette est pourtant bien ancré dans deux mouvements apparemment antagonistes du XVIIe siècle: celui de la littérature galante, représenté en particulier par Mlle de Scudéry, qui a lancé le terme "Faire l'anatomie du coeur" et d'autre part, celui de l'augustinisme qui place la corruption au centre de son anthropologie et qui soutient une vision pessimiste de l'amour. Nous analyserons en quoi "La Princesse de Clèves" se trouve au confluent de ces deux mouvements, quelles traces peuvent être perçues dans le texte et de quelle manière Mme de Lafayette en réinvestit les éléments pour créer son roman d'analyse. |
