| Content | Supprimer l'intrigue, éliminer les acteurs, tordre le langage ou soumettre le public à une avalanche de mots, lui faire mal, le rendre malade, exhiber l'artificialité de la représentation – depuis le début du XXe siècle, nombre d'œuvres de langue française ont renouvelé le théâtre en semblant vouloir le détruire, un geste qui n'est pas sans lien avec une réflexion sur la violence du monde et des médias. C'est cette alliance entre création et destruction que l'on étudiera au fil de ce séminaire, autour d'œuvres de dramaturges comme Maeterlinck, Beckett, Artaud, Genet, Michel Tremblay ou encore Valère Novarina. |
