46719-01 - Seminar: La lingua dei giornali italiani. Lessico, sintassi, punteggiatura 3 CP

Content L’obiettivo del seminario è duplice. Anzitutto, prendendo le mosse da Dardano 1986, Bonomi 2002 e Gualdo 2007, cercheremo di capire com’è fatto un quotidiano, quali sono i tipi di testo che lo compongono (articolo di cronaca, di approfondimento, intervista ecc.) e qual è la lingua che viene via via prescelta. Identificheremo insieme – lavorando su testi reali recenti e rappresentativi – le diverse architetture testuali, il lessico che le caratterizza, la loro sintassi (frasale e periodale), la loro punteggiatura. Non tralasceremo neppure di occuparci delle titolazioni, di come esse siano costruite e di quale sia il loro rapporto con il corpo del testo.

In un secondo momento, affronteremo l’avvincente problematica della relazione della scrittura dei giornali con la norma linguistica odierna. Si può ancora dire – come era giusto dire due o tre decenni fa – che i quotidiani sono il modello della lingua scritta in generale? Quali sono i modi (nuovi) in cui essi dialogano con il parlato? L’informazione, si sa, ormai ci giunge con moto continuo dalla televisione e dalla rete (computer, cellulari ecc.): come reagisce a questa situazione il giornalismo cartaceo? Sta forse recuperando quella dimensione scritta-scritta che aveva perso a partire dagli anni Settanta?
