Content Accompanying the lecture course "Architecture Since 1900 (Vorlesung: 47181-01),” this colloquium examines in more depth the material covered in the lecture course. Its focus is on historical intersections of architecture, modernity, and globalization. During some sessions, we will analyze specific works of architecture, studying plans and other visual materials. In other sessions, we will discuss readings that deepen our knowledge of the historiography of modern architecture and the methods of architectural history. To register for this colloquium, it is required that you attend the accompanying lecture course.
Learning objectives This course deepens knowledge of the historiography of modern architecture and the methods of architectural history.
