| Content | Il seminario tematizza una varietà di italiano contemporaneo oramai pervasiva: la lingua mediata dal computer (CMC), chiamata anche – meno correntemente, ma in modo più preciso – lingua mediata tecnicamente (CMT). Lo scopo del seminario consiste anzitutto nel proporre una descrizione sistematica delle caratteristiche linguistiche e comunicative della lingua mediata dal computer, che ne colga da una parte il suo profilo generale e dall’altra le peculiarità di alcune sue sotto-varietà: blog, newsgroup, forum, chat, facebook. L’analisi – che prenderà in considerazione lessico, morfologia, sintassi, punteggiatura, testualità – sarà corpus based: essa si fonderà, più precisamente, su un corpus predisposto all’Università di Roma “La Sapienza” da Isabella Chiari, il quale è costituito da più di un milione di parole e si articola in modo bilanciato nelle più importanti tipologie della comunicazione non privata mediata dal computer. Il secondo obiettivo del seminario è più teorico. Sullo sfondo della descrizione linguistica e comunicativa che avremo elaborato, ci chiederemo quale sia la posizione della lingua mediata dal computer tra scritto e parlato, affrontando così una questione annosa e non ancora risolta: si tratta di un parlato travestito da scritto o di uno scritto che si crede parlato? La risposta è complessa. Se dal punto di vista della costruzione grammaticale dell’enunciato la lingua mediata dal computer ha per alcuni aspetti caratteristiche dello scritto e per altri proprietà del parlato, dal punto di vista della testualità essa non assomiglia né all’uno né all’altro. E la sua specificità semiotica sta proprio in questo: in una gestione linguistica della testualità che è estranea sia al parlato che allo scritto, di modo che, da questo punto di vista e paradossalmente, scritto e parlato si assomigliano molto di più tra di loro di quanto siano simili alla lingua mediata dal computer. |
